Where our tax values come from

When you search, your browser asks the county's own free public data service for that address at that moment. We don't store your address or buy data from anyone. If your county isn't listed below, we don't have free tax data for it yet, and you can enter your own estimate.

What "tax value" means

Counties value property to set property taxes, not to price homes for sale. Values are usually set once a year as of January 1, some counties lag a year or more, and some states assess at a fraction of market value. That's why we show tax-based results as a starting point and point you to Zillow and Redfin to check.
